LUCKY
Juan K 88
Grand Prix Resources led the modernization of Lucky’s furling system to improve offshore reliability and racing performance.
The project involved sourcing and integrating a custom KZ Furler from New Zealand, re-engineering deck lead paths, and coordinating international logistics between suppliers in Europe and the U.S.
When technical mismatches arose on-site, the team rapidly engaged a local aerospace machinist in Valencia to fabricate customized adapters overnight—keeping the project on schedule and the vessel race-ready for upcoming campaigns.
